CareerTrellis, a web application from J. Hunter Johnson LLC, is available in open beta. It brings job discovery, AI-assisted resumes and cover letters, application tracking, and interview preparation into one workspace.
The beta is free to use, with access subject to capacity. AI features require your own supported AI provider account and API credentials; those are the keys that let CareerTrellis use that provider on your behalf. Provider charges may apply separately.
A job search creates more than a list of openings. Each opportunity can involve a different resume, a cover letter, an application deadline, follow-up notes, and interview preparation. CareerTrellis keeps that work organized around each role.
The current beta includes:
- Job discovery and matching: Search by keywords and location, with AI-assisted assessments that highlight potential strengths and gaps against your resume.
- Tailored application materials: Prepare resumes and cover letters for individual openings, with PDF, editable DOCX, and text downloads.
- Application tracking: Record application dates, follow-ups, interviews, offers, and other outcomes.
- Interview preparation: Keep preparation work connected to the relevant application.
You choose which opportunities to pursue, review and edit generated materials for accuracy, and download them when ready. You submit applications on employers’ websites and record your progress in CareerTrellis.
